GDL+ Package - A unique core programming language tailored to the specific needs of your company. As a Value- added product reseller of Genworks General Declarative Language (GDL), KE-Works Romania promotes two specific product packages:
1. GDL+ Professional Edition includes:
Note: The Professional Edition is for use in the early phases of application development. It does not include the capability to generate runtime application distributions. The Professional Edition may also be appropriate for providing additional Development seats within an organization or department which already has at least one Enterprise seat.- Value-added root application (a pre-demo application customized individually for each pre-ordered license).
- GDL Compiler and Development Environment (seamlessly integrated with CL/CLOS compiler).
- Library of GDL Objects, Functions, and Macros.
- GWL Web Application Framework, integrated with a fully-featured web server.
- GWL-based GDL Object Tree Browser and Inspector.
- Fully cross-referenced web-based GDL/GWL reference documentation, tutorials, and a set of functioning sample applications.
- Base CL/CLOS compiler and development system with pro filer and debugger.
- AllegroCache high-performance integrated OO database (on Windows and Linux platforms).
- Other built-in Allegro CL features on Windows/Linux and LispWorks features on MacOS (see www.franz.com and www.lispworks.com).
- One year Maintenance and Support (provided by Genworks International) for GDL suite, with the option to renew annually for a percentage-based fee.
- One year Maintenance and Implementation Support (provided by Ke-Works, up to 5 events), with the option to renew at any time for a 5 k€ fee.
2. GDL+ Enterprise Edition includes:
Note: The Enterprise Edition is for use in developing, building, and deploying run-time applications in a networked corporate Enterprise environment. Enterprise customers are automatically licensed to generate and use run-time applications for noncommercial activities (e.g. deployment testing, demonstrations, etc). Customers who wish to generate and deploy company-internal run-time applications for production use may purchase GDL/GWL Runtime Licenses for this purpose. Customers who wish to generate and deploy commercial run-time applications may apply to Genworks to become GDL VARs (Value-added Resellers) see more details on Genworks Products description.
- All GDL+ Professional Edition components
- Distributed GDL (dGDL), allowing child objects in a GDL object tree to exist on separate processes (on the local machine or remote machines).
- Ability to generate standalone runtime single-user and (web)server-based GDL/GWL application distributions, as well as shared-library (.DLL or .so) applications on Windows and Linux platforms.
Purchasing & pricing
KE-Works Romania offers GDL+ Enterprise Edition & GDL+ Professional Edition with same purchase prices as those advertised by Genworks International for GDL Enterprise Edition & GDL Professional Edition. The difference is reflected in terms of services. We offer a pre-purchase value-added root application in order to facilitate the product evaluation within your business. Additionally, we offer for all our customers, a 5 events - support package free of charge in the first year and remote consultancy or on-site consultancy at preferential ratings (see section services).
